Helpful Information

Billing & Insurance

I am a private pay provider which means I am not in network with any insurance companies. Upon request, I can provide a superbill for clients to submit to their insurance company for potential out of network reimbursement. I am unable to see clients with Medicare for private pay speech therapy due to federal law. I accept all major credit/debit cards & HSA/FSA cards through my secure client portal as payment for services.

Referrals

Since I am a private pay provider, a physician’s referral is not required prior to beginning speech therapy; however, I often collaborate with healthcare providers such as neurologists. If you have records from your doctor or other provider that you would like to send, reach out for my fax number.

  • At my office in Sandy Springs or virtually throughout the state of Georgia. I recommend completing the first session in person if possible.

  • Adolescents (15+) and adults (up to age 65). I am not able to see clients who have Medicare for private pay speech therapy.

  • We will set up a time to talk via phone for about 15 minutes so I can get to know you, your needs, and your goals, whether you are looking for speech therapy or executive function coaching services. This is a great way to determine if we are a good fit for each other.

  • After our initial phone consult, I will email you the intake forms via my secure client portal then schedule a day/time for our first session.

  • Depending on the individual client, sessions consist of education, learning compensatory strategies/tools, and direct training/exercises. I also provide home exercises to carryover what you are learning in sessions into your daily life.

  • Speech therapy is for those who have speech/language/cognitive challenges as a result of a neurological disorder or injury. Executive function coaching is for individuals who do not have a neurological injury but may struggle with EF skills due a difference in how their brain is naturally wired such as with ADHD.

  • As part of your intake paperwork, you will place a card on file which will be charged after each session. Payment is due at time of service. I accept all major credit/debit cards as well as HSA/FSA cards.
